GRIEF EACH DAY...A NEW SORROW.

I wish that I could just go on and keep my father's death in the back of my heart and let it rest. Each day seems to be worse instead of better. We shared so much that it is literally impossible to stop grieving. Yes, it may change in its intensity, but never in its persistence.

Grieving over my father

Does grieving the loss of a parent, namely my father, ever stop? I got through Memorial Day, feeling so very helpless and sad, missing my father, a wonderful man and prisoner of WWII Germany. I don't know if I shall ever go back to my normal life, now that he is gone, and how can I. I wrote a book on the subject of grief, in 2009, in hopes of relieving my own, however it remains like the plague. "My Father's Straw Hat" published by Tate Publishing. Please write to me or talk to me about your grieving process. I would love to hear from you. Trish.
